BULBS, a joint initiative from Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation and Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, is a program that seeks to beautify public parks and other publicly accessible green spaces through establishing permanent plantings of spring flowering bulbs. It encompasses a youth component that works with community youth leadership programs and places youth in an active role in planning and leading these planting events. Youth leadership programs receive a grant from Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation to apply towards other initiatives.
