As we mark the 10th anniversary of the Toronto Music Garden, landscape designer and author Julie Moir Messervy has published The Toronto Music Garden: Inspired by Bach in partnership with the City of Toronto and Margaret and Jim Fleck. The garden is the result of a creative collaboration between Ms. Messervy and cellist Yo-Yo Ma to interpret in nature the music of J.S. Bach.

With an introduction by Yo-Yo Ma, the new book describes in detail the inspiration, design and building of this remarkable waterfront public garden. Gorgeous colour photographs, sketch renderings and a list of plan materials used in each section of the garden will provide readers with ideas to assist in creating their own gardens.
