In 2003 the Toronto Parks and Trees Foundation launched the Community Grants Program, an initiative to support charitable community organizations that are actively involved in sustaining and enhancing Toronto’s parkland. The Foundation makes small grants for a diversity of park-based projects and community group undertakings. Since then over 140 community projects have been funded.
